The National Council of New Home Advisors is a collaborative professional council formed by leaders across the new home ecosystem. NCNHA is not a sales organization — it is a standards setting body dedicated to elevating professionalism in new home representation at the national level.

NCNHA brings together real estate educators, national and regional homebuilding associations, Realtor® boards, industry trainers, construction literacy experts, builder relations specialists, and consumer advocacy voices — all united by a shared commitment to defining what competent, ethical, construction literate new home representation should look like across the country.

As a neutral, trusted organization, NCNHA serves as the authoritative voice for professional standards in new home representation — independent of any single company, brokerage, or commercial interest.

For decades, the new home industry lacked a unified standard for buyer representation. Builders, buyers, and brokerages all encountered the same persistent problem: inconsistent knowledge levels among agents — particularly around construction literacy, builder processes, contracts, timelines, and communication.

Buyers entered complex transactions without advisors who truly understood the new home environment. Builders worked with agents who were unfamiliar with their processes, timelines, and expectations. The result was friction, miscommunication, and outcomes that served no one well.
