Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in NCNHA, submitting payment, or accessing any NCNHA course materials, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined on this page. Please review these terms carefully before completing your enrollment.

Refunds are only issued if an application is denied. Once approved, all dues are nonrefundable.

1. Membership Eligibility

Membership in the National Council for New Home Advisors (NCNHA) is granted only to individuals who meet all eligibility requirements, including:

• Holding an active real estate license in their state of practice

• Maintaining good standing with their local real estate board, state licensing authority, or supervising broker

• Having no past or present disciplinary actions, ethics violations, or consumer complaints on record

NCNHA reserves the right to verify license status and professional standing at any time.

2. Membership Approval

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. NCNHA may approve or deny membership at its sole discretion based on:

• Licensing status

• Professional conduct history

• Accuracy of information provided

• Compliance with NCNHA standards

Applicants will be notified by email regarding approval status. See Refund Policy if an application is not approved.

3. Certification Requirements

The Certified New Home Advisor™ (CNHA™) designation is awarded exclusively to approved NCNHA members who:

• Complete the CNHA™ Certification Course in full

• Pass all required assessments (if applicable)

• Agree to uphold NCNHA’s professional standards and ethical guidelines

Certification remains valid only while membership is active and in good standing.

4. Membership Dues & Renewal

Membership dues must be paid annually to maintain active status. Failure to renew membership will result in:

• Immediate suspension of CNHA™ certification

• Loss of access to member resources

• Removal from the NCNHA directory

• Revocation of rights to use NCNHA branding, marketing materials, and the CNHA™ designation

Reinstatement may require reapplication and additional fees.

5. Use of NCNHA Branding & Materials

Active members in good standing may use:

• The CNHA™ designation

• NCNHA logos

• Marketing Suite materials

• Member resources and templates

Members may not:

• Alter NCNHA branding

• Misrepresent certification status

• Use NCNHA materials after membership lapses

• Share proprietary content with nonmembers

Unauthorized use may result in disciplinary action or legal remedies.

6. Professional Conduct Requirements

Members agree to:

• Represent NCNHA with professionalism and integrity

• Follow all state and local real estate laws

• Adhere to builder‑aligned best practices

• Maintain ethical standards in new‑construction transactions

NCNHA may revoke membership or certification for conduct inconsistent with these standards.

7. Intellectual Property Protection

All NCNHA course content, certification materials, digital products, marketing suite assets, templates, videos, and proprietary resources are the exclusive intellectual property of NCNHA.

Members may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or reverse‑engineer NCNHA materials

• Create derivative works based on NCNHA content

• Use NCNHA content to develop or support any competing course, certification, training program, coaching program, or membership offering

• Share NCNHA materials with nonmembers

Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution of NCNHA intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate membership revocation, legal action, and pursuit of damages.

8. Refund Policy

If a membership application is not approved, the applicant’s initial membership dues will be refunded in full. Upon refund, all access to NCNHA courses, certification materials, member resources, digital products, and marketing assets will be immediately revoked.

Once a membership application is approved, all membership dues become nonrefundable.

Members may cancel their membership at any time. However, cancellation immediately revokes all rights to:

• The CNHA™ designation

• NCNHA badges, seals, and branding

• All course materials

• All digital products

• All marketing suite assets

• Any materials indicating affiliation with NCNHA

Upon cancellation, members must discontinue all use of NCNHA intellectual property and remove any reference to CNHA™ certification from marketing, advertising, websites, business cards, email signatures, social media, and professional profiles.

Continued use of NCNHA materials or the CNHA™ designation after cancellation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Exceptions may be granted only in cases of duplicate charges or technical errors.

9. Account Responsibility

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, including:

• Email address

• Licensing status

• Payment details

NCNHA is not responsible for missed communications due to outdated contact information.

10. Modification of Terms

NCNHA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
